Terms of Service

Last updated: 31 October 2026

These terms cover your use of mymemorial.day ("the service"), run by Lee James Apps ("we", "us"), a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. By creating an account, publishing a memorial page or leaving a condolence message, you agree to them.

1. What the service is

A memorial page at an address like their-name.mymemorial.day, with the funeral details, maps and directions, a condolence book, an order of service, a printable keepsake and a downloadable copy of the page. Families can make a page themselves, or a funeral director can make it with them.

2. Your account

3. Prices

Families

Funeral directors

Prices include VAT where it applies. If a price changes we'll tell you before it affects you.

4. Refunds

5. How long a page stays online

There's no time limit. A published page stays online until you remove it, which you can do at any time from your account. You can download a copy of the page, including every condolence message, first. If we ever have to change this, we'll email you at least 30 days before, so you can download anything you want to keep.

6. What you put on a page

7. Leaving a condolence message

Your message is public to anyone with the page's link. Please be kind. The family or funeral director can remove it, and so can we if it breaks these terms.

8. Your content

What you add stays yours. You give us permission to store and show it, only so we can run your page. The service itself (its code, design and name) belongs to Lee James Apps.

9. Availability

We work hard to keep pages online and fast, but we can't promise the service will never be interrupted, for example during maintenance.

10. Our liability

As far as the law allows, we're not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

11. The law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring a claim in your own country's courts.

12. Contact

Questions, refunds or anything else: hello@mymemorial.day. A real person (Lee) reads every message.
